Defclones - White Klony

Magical D9E diodes and a couple of cap changes for better bass response.

^^^That's a beauty man.

Here is a unnecessarily huge, 1590DD, 80's synthesizer-themed enclosure that I just finished for Freppo's guitar synth circuit.

Thanks dude! Love that enclosure on yours, the paint splat thing looks awesome with the etch! Might have to nick that! ;)

Thanks man. It was nerve racking because I had to pump myself up to start sanding (hoping the etch was deep enough that it didn't take the splatter off), but all was good :) Definitely something I will repeat.

I think next you should try an etched swirl finish. There's plenty of boring swirl finishes on pedals out there. I think it's time to see how it'd look on an etched enclosure.

I wanted to do that previously, on part of that "Ugly Arcadiator" pedal I built awhile back (I wanted the space scene to have a swirl finish). I ended up selling that pedal to fund another purchase and I miss it. I need to find someone that wants to rebuild them again, and when I do, I feel confident enough to add the swirl now ;)

Not pedal..

Part warmoth, part stuff found elsewhere. Body was entirely finished by hand. A couple small blemishes and bits where I ate through the lacquer a bit, but I'm happy how it looks! Pickups are seymour duncan pearly gates, have the mini switches setup to toggle between parallel, series and single coil, and did some hack drill-press routing to add the pickup selector toggle!
