minimalism (your small board)

Post by sevenSHARPnine »

So this is partially inspired by a question HT asked in an old thread about which pedal you're attached to most.

List the board you would set up if you were only allowed 4 pedals or less. They must be pedals you currently own. For shits and gigs let's exclude tuner pedals. I'm just curious what everyone's bare-bones board would be.

Mine would be:
1. woodgrain 3-knob Singing Tree
2. '69 stanimal clone
3. Small Clone
4. Memory Toy

GO!

mine would be
1. rat
2.dl4 for my loops
3.line 6 echo park for my reverse craziness
4. de7 for my delays

what a pathetic list but you add that to a ton of reverb= canyons of static of course I stack a ton more dirt and delay but this would be bare bones

Ross, is that an old RAT or a reissue RAT? Some people swear by the vintage LM308 chip.

My four:

1. Superdelay
2. Sonic Crayon Vibrato
3. Mountainking FreqLSD
(4.Melx Fuzz 2)
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

don't think it is vintage, if you know someone with a vintage one I will trade them for it! I'm jealous of the mountainking I want one of those bad, side note james plotkin who helps record those videos for mountainking just mastered our 7inch song for us and it sounds great!

3. Digiverb (soon to be Miniberator)

For an OD I would just push the amp ;)

1. Pitch pirate
2. Digilog
3. DBO IO supreme

#4 right now would be a SCOD but honorable mention goes to the CoPilot Gyroscope - have one song that relies on it.
