I was thinking Slayer, but I wanted to clarify whether or not the implication was "the equivalent of Christian rock for Satanists" or "is actually a Christian rock band that panders to Satanists".
Actually, neither of those is pertinent to Slayer.

Not sure.
Didn't think so, I just know they aren't satanists per se, but are vehemently against the idea of religious institutions. So I can see how that may be mistaken for satanism, but a Slayer fan would know the difference.
I'm highly doubtful that anyone who penned, "I keep the bible in a pool of blood so that none of its lies can effect me" is Catholic.
I'd believe raised Catholic, but not anymore.
