I had the mf-102 twice. It makes a really nice combo with the mf-101.
Fuzzonaut about the RM-1N:
"Amp in a box"?
No, there's no amp in there - tone fairies and feedback goblins live inside this box.

I actually like the trem better on the RR too, I just like the greater range on the Moog. RR sounds better though.lordgalvar wrote: And I actually liked the RR's trem a bit more for a blended sound*, which leads me to:

I just wanted to say mopar vs GM more than anything. Haha. They're both great haha.Chankgeez wrote:I actually like the trem better on the RR too, I just like the greater range on the Moog. That is pretty much the sound I was talking about. It is awesome.BoatRich wrote:I've had the same power supply question multiple times. It sucks because I'm trying to get a Moog LPF and Phaser as well and I'm gonna have to find someway to power and bypass them all easily. (Looking into that pedal patchbay from the other thread because that dude's local and it can send CV?) Also is the dual LFO trem weirdness you're talking about where it seems to have almost a random rate on the tremolo when you set the rate higher than the frequency? (or vice versa? I can't remember) Because that's one of the cooler sounds I've found in it and it's easily sequencable which is nice.
As far as the Bitquest goes, I would fucking love one, but I use Ring Mod too much to have it in a multi effect without presets. I'll probably get one up to replace all the other type of modulation I'd like but never use+bit crush.
CV patchbay is cool, but you have to have a pot or something to give data to the pedal or else it defeats the knob sometimes (if you don't patch it somewhere). Just something to keep in mind. But, patching a sequencer to them all wouldn't be hard at all or something...just gotta keep everything going to a destination. Oh yea, and TRS jacks. It's gotta have those (don't know if that brain2000 one does, but I am sure it could....or you could wire one up). Invisible Man's pedal patchbay thread has good info on that.
The power supply thing just seems weird even though you can adapt them to a voodoo labs or something. But if you are going to encourage using their power supplies (probably for warranty reasons/knowing their may be power issues [which I think it spart of it]) just go with something closer to modular haha. It wont stop me from using Moog pedals; I love 'em. Just odd...but then again in 1998, thinks might not have been as standardized (though it seemed like it was by then)
