I still think My Father was the best of the new swans records, but I am excited to hear this and the upcoming LP.

Damn, I really hope they play again in Tokyo and that time I won't miss them... The recent Swans albums are just great.

I was surprised that To Be Kind wasn't done with Kevin McMahon/Marcata Recording like MFWGMUARTTS and The Seer were. Hm... anyway I still haven't heard TBK but I'm definitely looking forward to this one too.

I'm confused. So am I gonna get 3 LPs plus a dvd, as well as the new album next year...or am I preordering the new album?

You get "The Gate" which is the 2cd live album which I guess is ready now, or at least very soon. That wasn't clear. Then, if you chose option 2 or above, you also get the CD/LP/DVD (depending on which you choose) etc of their upcoming studio album to be released May 2016.

Option 6 here. If I had the cash if be all about option 7 - Gira drawing a portrait of my cats would be the greatest thing ever.

Maybe he'll finally finish the Body Lovers trilogy.
