Re: The NINT Molecular Clipping Overdrive Prototype
Thank you very much! I really appreciate you noticed all those details, I think that stuff is all really important too. All top notch ingredients in this pizza! *smile*
One other thing I meant to mention about the Heisenberg is the nature of each gain stage.. they're all very simple and straight forward. The amplifiers used are a BS170 FET, a 2N5088 NPN transistor, and NE5532P for the op amp. All high quality, original manufacturer parts, but all common.. no mojo parts, nothing NOS, nothing you can't get at Digikey or Mouser. I think it's important that the gain stages themselves aren't what's special about the H, it's all about the molecular junctions.

Those box caps are going to look fantastic with the white pcb!
Is that a modified Douglas Adams reference near the 10k resistor?

Let it be known that my pedalboard is now setup with all pedals ready to welcome the Heisenberg. The Elements is firmly mounted and waits patiently for the arrival of its new playmate next to a temporary filler-OD (purposely selected as it's the same-size as the Heisenberg).
And, my excitement builds with every passing hour...

Re: The NINT Molecular Clipping Overdrive Prototype
I have made the brutal decision to kick the ILFDD off the board to make room for the Heisenberg. Which was a really tough decision, as I just love the ILFDD - it just sits so well in the mix. And the oscillate function is so easily controllable. So I just pm'd Behndy about his industrialec Echo degrader, which while side mount (grrr) should save enough space for the Heisenberg.

Broke my pedge not to buy pedals before secret satan, but I think the odds of being sent an echo degrader are near zero so t shouldn't be a problem for my stalker.
