Hey I was there too! Vennart, Delta Sleep and Deerhoof were my highlights. Arctangent is always amazing fun! :joy:

Whoa. If you end up going in the future let me know and we'll can have a nice geeky pedal talk...oh right..that's we do that here..but you get the point =D

I've been to them all so far and definitely plan on going next year! I will start a thread when it's happening then, I reckon there have to be a few others on this board.

Yeah the lineups have all been crazy good! Everyone there is always super chill as well, it's really great. One thing I find really nice is seeing the huge number of bands who stick around for the whole weekend.

Well, Drive Like Jehu was cool, though I left a bit early due to exhaustion. Saw lots of the Chicago heavyweights at the show, including both Kinsella bros., as well as Allen Epley. If you're in Chicago: anyone have any interest in seeing Swervedriver tonight?

I saw photos on instagram of a guitar head actually hanging off the neck of speedo's guitar, wtf happened there?

Also MAIDEN NEXT MAY. My as yet unborn son will be two months old. That's not too young to be taken to maiden obviously?

Better late than never right? APTBS were fun, and loud, and rocked sufficiently as they do. I seemed a bit less hyped on them then the first time I saw them, but I went into that show not listening to them very much so it could have just been the element of surprise. They ended their set with a drum machine/bass/dub vocal jam in the crowd, which was cool. There wasn't a lot of people there which kinda surprised me, hopefully just cuz it was a Sunday.

So I know it's really a more TGP-suited post. But my dad and I are going to see David Gilmour tomorrow. I have very low expectations, mostly so I won't be disappointed. Still very much excited though. :D

That's pretty rad. Gilmour is phenomenal.

I think the last show I went to with my dad was Johnny Winter. Fun time.
good deals are here.

This must've been after I left. I was actually dozing in my car outside the Bottom Lounge before the show started. I'll have to ask my buddies about it.

Even though summer has formally ended, I just want to say that Caspian far far exceeded expectations. Their sound was enveloping, 360 degrees.

Seeing Ride tomorrow if the weather cooperates and doesn't, y'know, hurricane all over Boston. Really hoping everything works out - I've wanted to see them since I was about 17 or so.
