i bought a Bugera 1960 all tube amp a few months ago brand new,and now it dosnt work. a couple days ago i was playing it really loud through two separate 12' speakers and it kept making this weird poping kinda noise and then there was no sound out all. the blue light turns on but it seems to produce no sound. i tried my speakers with another amp and the speakers are fine so its definalty the amp that dont work.what could be wrong with it? could it need new tubes? i play it loud all the time, well i used too
hold up man!!!!...if the amp powers up and you get no sound at all then first place you'll want to check is the mains fuse...see if it's blown ...if it is replace it w/ exactly what it calls for...make sure if it says slo blo then use slo blo...don't cut corners ...they're there to stop lethal voltages from frying your amp....if thats not the problem then crank up your amp....does it give off any sound at all?...if it sounds like a gated/fuzzy effect and crackles, sort of a microphonic sound...then it's prob. your tubes bias floating or your bias resistors on the board are fried....time for your tech to bias and retube your amp...if your amp gives off no sound at all...even when cranked...then next stop will be your output transformer ...that's bad mojo my friend...it that's your problem then be ready to spend some loot...frying the output tranny is about the worst thing you can do to a tube amp...but at the end of the day...tube amps are like Michael Myers...no matter what punisment has been brought down upon them, they wll be back!

shit I almost forgot...if you're not experienced w/ amp repair DO NOT stick your hands inside the amp chasis(underneath where all the wiring is)...those caps hold enough voltage to smoke your ass like a pack of Kools...one good habit to get into is if you're goona stick your hands inside the amp then keep one hand inside your pocket(keeps you from grounding yourself out) but if your not sure then just take it to a tech.

even when cranked it dosnt put out any sound, not even a hiss, its absolute silence,i dont know shit about amps or what 'bias' is so i guess i will have to take it to a guitar tech
