Wow just found this thread, you've made some great textures and sounds, I really like them. I own a Tibetan Singing Bowl (somewhere in the house), I will have to get it out and try to record it... my microphones aren't good though - may I ask what you use to record acoustic instruments with? My guitars just plug into the computer via a crummy mixer, but I tried a clip on mic with the singing bowl and it destroyed all the resonance... and the only semi decent microphone I have is only good for recording very loud sounds. Should I be looking to get a Shure SM57 for this sort of thing? I've wanted to run the singing bowl through some pitch shifters for a while; it creates incredibly resonant overtones if you can stroke the side of it at the right speed with the wooden stick it came with - like a metallic version of rubbing your finger around the rim of a wet wine glass.Ugly Nora wrote:This is good stuff. I like this futuristic lounge type stuff.
Unrelated, but if any team members want to post their glock/bells/singing bowls etc type of music they are making in this thread, please do. I would love to hear it.

Any new stuff Nora? I'm going to spend a good chunk of time experimenting on thursday. Hopefully come up with something worth contributing.

I guess that's true, but univalve and I love it. So, that's all that matters.
