Small Machine Head Tuners and buttons?

Post by DRodriguez »

Does anyone know of any tuning heads that are smaller than 20mm? Pretty much every one I've found is that size. You can find thinner ones like the gotoh stealths, but nothing that is smaller on the length.

Also small or long tuning buttons would be cool.

Cool. So I'll be the obtuse aresehole for asking which dimension you're talking about. I read that as the shaft length of the rotating bit that holds the string, but I may also be a teensy bit drunk so... yeah.

Maybe some of the Fender-style split shaft tuners and a hacksaw?

Nah, my bad. Not the shaft the actual bit with the gears in it.

The length that measures 22 here:

Or the length on here that adds up to 21 (11.2 + 9.8):

It's relatively easy to find different shaft lengths.
