got my meatbox today, now i need to find the right kind of TRS cable for it. i thought i had it (bought one just for this, but apparently the shop clerk didn't know what he was selling to me as it doesn't say what the jacks are in the package), but apparently it's stereo plug which splits into two stereo jacks instead of stereo to mono. guh. annoying.

oh, do you guys know if all stereo-to-mono y-cables split the output into tip & ring, or is there something i should know before going out and buying the wrong thing again?

If you want something that is pedalboard friendly, get the EBS flat patch TRS Y insert Cable:
