So hunt down a Goodbye 24?oldangelmidnight wrote:I keep finding myself wishing Mode 1 and Mode 2 were combined. I want the automatic sampling of mode 1 with the random playback of mode 2. I'll rhythmically tap the momentary switch while in mode 2 but that doesn't seem like a good long-term plan.

i think the first mode on the ct5 is basically gb24. if it isn't, someone is getting fired.

Yeah, mine is from the most recent batch.multi_s wrote:Ya that's a good idea too, iirc that's a bit more inline with one of the MASF pedals?. In mode 1 the tap switch is free on rev j atm, so maybe we I will make use of that soon (hopefully you have a rev j ?) . There are still some other small things to fix in the firmware but i have not had much time to program since moving.oldangelmidnight wrote:I keep finding myself wishing Mode 1 and Mode 2 were combined. It would be cool to see you do something with the tap in Mode 1. If you could find a way to implement automatic random playback, that would be just about a dream come true for me. (but I'll also look into the MASF thing...

Re: Count To Five
It would be cool if some of you who own and use a CT5 posted more clips
to show how you use it. That might also help highlight things that you wish
it had or wish that a subsequent mtl.asm pedal could do.
No?

AFAIK, none of the MASF pedals can do that.multi_s wrote:Ya that's a good idea too, iirc that's a bit more inline with one of the MASF pedals?. The new place will make things much much better though, so excuse the temporary delays, in the end it should benefit everyone.oldangelmidnight wrote:I keep finding myself wishing Mode 1 and Mode 2 were combined. I wholeheartedly support this idea though to combine Mode 1 and 2 though. This is actually the reason I have two Ct5s, so I can combine the two modes.

I got excited/confused/did a double take for a second....cause I thought strange tales was the coder...
But yea, doesn't sound like MASF to me. Maybe possessed can do something that sounds similar on some settings, but it isn't doing the same thing at all.

Some descriptions of the Possessed make it seem like it might work.
In my looking, I see that it seems like the Hexe Revolver might do it.

How have I never heard of this pedal before. I need to split my signal and put that post a fully wet CT5 in mode 1 for awesomeness.lordgalvar wrote:Maybe possessed can do something that sounds similar on some settings, but it isn't doing the same thing at all.

Or maybe like, have pressing the tap switch make the echoes go back to unity or the other direction? Re: Count To Five
well the way i was going to make it is that holding the tap and turning LEN B will allow you to set the minimum distance the read has to be from write head (ie teh delay cannot be less than some time), and not holding it and turning sets the maximum distance (as it does now in some sense, the delay time cannot be longer than...). So that will result in the waveform getting chopped up at a rate that is somehow dependent on the playback speed and difference between the previously mentioned min and max distances. Tapping could still do something else too. Perhaps make a tap dance sound etc.
also new preorder opening tonighta sometime.
bon voyage.

Pre Orders for the next batch are up. I'd pre-order for a second, but I don't have the disposable income for another couple weeks. Get on it y'all.

BOOM! Pre-ordered!
Loved my V1, but I didn't use it for anything productive, so I sold it like an idiot who hates fun. Looking forward to playing around with it and all of its new features.
