Although Brand New has ventured out from the relationship subject matter on their last two albums.
This ^^^ I used to think "they'd be so good if he'd sing about more than just one thing." Then I realized that he was. The Devil and God blew my mind when I heard it. It was so different from the stuff before, and I loved it. I love Daisy too. I like the lyrics a lot, actually.

Every girl in the crowd sang it in unison.
I'm always kind of confused about the crowd that's into them. I could understand it if they were still singing pop-punk songs about girls or whatever, but the new stuff is dissonant, fuzzy, noisy, screamy, and lyrically mostly depressing as fuck. I love it for the intensity I feel in it.
Thee fans of their older stuff are still so die hard about it. Its weird because there are so many people who feel that way. AbsolutePunk.net is basically the haven for that crowd and their news stories get crazy shit happening in the comments all the time.
