I might do a drone box with a breakout for control. It would be based off the floppy disc delay (and be like a test run before the actual build to test preamps and stuff). Use the controls for a manual advance and sample...but I will see when it gets here and get some better shots. I think I would build a nice little synth to go into that IDE or whatever connector at the back to give more control/have a dedicated synth to sample. If I keep thinking about it, I am going to try to make a full sequencer for it too...so I am going to shut up, haha!

I should find a locksmith too...(I think I know one if he is still doing it)

I have to get more floppy drives now! It should be here today...it's just coming from over the moutains near where the steath bombers fly (which is awesome to see...they are so huge and just look like a black line and dot flying...crazy when they turn and you see how massive they are).

Just got it in. Not nearly as big as I thought it was going to be (14" x 8 footprin and about 3" height on front and 4" on the back...I just thought it would be like 20" wide from the picture) which is good. I thought the switches would be totally different but they are kinda like the coin slot "push to return/refund" button on arcade machines (push the plastic into the body). The emergency stop is a push button and you turn to release.

Thing is built well and heavy. Body is welded

IF you don't have the key Omron should sell them, I use those exact key switches at work all the time.

Awesome! Didn't even think about calling the company. Was just going to find my old locksmith buddy, but that might be cheaper. Thanks man!

X-Rays, eh?

If they are more arcade like buttons, you could do something like this:

This is their shop...

No problem... I may even have spares I'll poke around Monday

Sorta, I work with laser controllers and Omron is just one of the few brands that pretty much all Countries safety regulations accept.

My guess on what you have is a part of a controller for a vehicle/shipping container x-ray scanning system which is pretty big right now, especially in coast ports but mainly in south east asia due to smuggling.
