Re: BriBri on Coffee and Riffs
i deleted darcy's redundant thread. thanks guys! i had a good time doing this, even though i thought it majorly sucked after i left (before i got to actually see it). the little tiny 1x10 fender i used was in retrospect maybe not the best choice but it sounded cool so i figured why not... anyways, it's always the case that i wish i did something differently but i'm ok with it.

the cosmi sounds great! i think i was actually wrong about the beginning warble though - that was me using the pitch bend on the nord. there is some nice cosmichorus action throughout though.UglyCasanova wrote:Well, I for one loved it. Made me want to play more keys (and get a Cosmichorus)

brady was in europe with brand new that day and was supposed to get in on a skype call or something to do the interview portion but it didn't work out at the moment. the dude in the vid is seth who is one part of old blood noise - he's a very sweet guy.

Re: BriBri on Coffee and Riffs
The longer version:
So as usual I'm a bit late to the party, but found out about the Coffee and Riffs-channel last night and spent a few hours watching it. Brian's effort is by faaaar my favourite, just so good. Also got me to check out Cymbals Eat Guitars (after hearing their name a million times but never being bothered to) this morning and I gotta say that's some pretty cool stuff! For some reason the vocals remind me of Saves The Day and Young Legionnaire, which feels like a bit like a weird connection, but definitely a good thing. Cosmichorus GAS definitely boosted after that too and I played my keys for the first time in ages today! In short: Thanks for the inspiration, Brian. Keep up the good work!

I tend to like the non-guitar C&R vids better.

Re: BriBri on Coffee and Riffs
Piano fuzz is always so rad, I was surpised at how awesome the Haunt sounded there.
& I really love your musical sensibilities, Bri. I could be whisked away on clouds of your music.
I still listen to that mock Mobile piece you put on soundcloud when I want to unwind

Re: BriBri on Coffee and Riffs
More praise!
After spending yet another morning watching you Coffee and Riffs episode and then listening to Cymbals Eat Guitars (on spotify, need to get some physical copies asap)..
Brian, have you ever considered doing and ambient//drone/instrumental/callitwhatyouwant solo EP or so? (Or perhaps you already have? If so let me know!) Your keyboards just sound soooo nice, and I'm usually not the one to notice sounds of that particular instrument. If there was a kickstarter, I'd back it! =P
