The Cleanness: Best pedal I've bought in a looooong time.

Post by rubbersoul »

I got my hands on this about a week ago:

This pedal is simply incredible! I am so upset I didn't get one of these a long time ago. I have an amp with only one tone knob, so this works unbelievably as an EQ for me. With my amp clean, I swear I can almost get sounds that emulate an acoustic. What I really love, though, is overdriving my amp and then boosting it with The Cleanness. An overdriven amp + The Cleanness + my Reverberator, is pure joy! I've always been after John Lennon's early solo guitar tones...think Well, Well, Well...I Found Out...etc. It was such a nasty, trashy sounding distortion and the Cleanness gets my amp there better than anything I've tried. I'm fairly certain I have not enjoyed a new pedal quite this much before. In fact, I love it so much, I'm getting another one!

Thanks again Ryan!!

Try the new model... It has a mix knob now.

And if you want more gain, The Elements share the same EQ section.

I just sold my cleanness. Low 80s I think. God damn gorgeous all white finish. Something with a similar yet expanded feature set (boxidizer) is incoming and I'll see how it stacks up, but wow it was a great pedal.

Nice Cleanness thread, thanks dudes! Glad to hear you guys are digging yours and nice finds, Darren and Chris! Both are rare ones.. well all Cleannesses are rare I guess, didn't really make very many of them.

Chris, yours is one of my favourite vinyl finishes we ever made. It was inspired from a crazy scene on the Tim and Eric show, back in 2007 or 2008.
