"ILF is more than a forum... it's a GAS-inducing machine!
Run, before it's too late!
You'll be collecting weird, sputtering, self-oscillating, octave up, glitching-down, hand-painted, limited run boxes of noise faster than you can imagine..."

^this is true.
I say we make it the official 'something' for us.

jrmy speaks truth. I came here with two pedals. I now own 8 after going through 11.
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

Current ILF Love: OHNOHO CHK CHK BOOM, Mellowtone Melx Fuzz 2, EQD Dream Crusher, Devi Ever ID, Dr. Scientist Proto-Miniberator - new vids eventually

Yeah, since discovering ILF I've gone through more pedals than in all the years before... I joined in '08... started playing electric instruments in '90... so that means that in the last two years, I've gone through more devices than the previous 18. It's frightening on so many levels... to say nothing of the fact that I should be a better player by now...
I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.

I myself have, for a long time now, been introduced as the odd ball bassist with so many more pedals than the guitar players - and they all dirt. Then... I realised They hadn't seen or heard ANYTHING yet

Definitely, last year was like a pedal marathon for me I went through more pedals than I ever had, or currently have. Since joining last march I've aquired the cc/dc, Singing tree, small box wolf computer, mini wolf computer, Soda Meiser, Torns Peaker, GZ, Disaster Fuzz, Heroin Lifestyle, Hyperion, Algal Bloom, and the Utter Stutter. And those are just the ILF's, however, all but four of those have been sold or traded. This forum induces gas that I had no idea I had on a daily basis.

I think we should have our shirts say I :ilf: Fuzz on the front and NSFYW (Not Safe For Your Wallet) on the back.

I think the only real reason I have tons of pedal is cuz I have had a steady job for the last few years... The gas was always there. The NEED to make strange noises was there from day one for me. I use ILF as a support system to help tell my self I don't have a problem. That all my frieds and bandmates are "wrong" saying I have a pedal fetish, and I've got it bad  The fact that ILF is encourages and eggs on my fuzztish as well as keeps me up on the latest buzzings is a bonus :thumb: :omg:  :yay:
