I have a Ditto X2 and I'm considering getting a second one for looping mah loops, but if something else does similar stuff - even if it requires some toe-tapping - and takes up less real estate, I'd definitely be interested...

The stop "effect" on the X2 is pretty handy, as well. The X2 would be way out of my price range. They sell for like $250+ AUD. Our dollar is in a fucking terrible state at the moment.
