Thanks dude! I am getting more and more stoked.

Talked to Chris and he said with a Bastin neck bolted onto it that it only weighed 7 pounds total. The Bastin neck weighs around 3, so this body must only weigh about 4 pounds! Stoked.

That is awesome. Love the pickup placement!

Dang, makes me want to get out my dad's miller and spend an extended vacation up there building a guitar (my dad would probably get a kick out of it)!

damn man.. this thing is going to look mint.
You should consider using aluminum for the back of the neck, going up the middle from the neck pocket to the headstock.. or some variation on that idea, in the vein of Kramer and Travis Bean..

Decided on and placed an order on a neck for this guy.
Warmoth Mooncaster neck in Roasted Maple with a Roasted Maple fretboard (neck doesn't need to be finished, I can leave it raw!) reverse headstock, 6150 stainless steel frets, reamed out for Sperzel locking tuners, black side and top dots, compound radius. I am stoked. Who knows, the neck might go onto my Jazzmaster and the Bastin might go onto the Skullcaster!

It was a preorder of 20 necks, they're all gone. He's going to do another run of 10 and list them on reverb but I'm not sure when. He said he will be making that run of 10 up front

I believe that is a car or pinstriping color. I've seen it on a can of paint (and it had something to do with ed roth).

Looking good man
