Pitchforking a Grendel?
Has anyone tried? It seems like using the expression pedal to get it into the neighborhood of a key would be easier than fiddling with the oscillators. Aaaaaand then there's the harmonizing bit.

Re: Pitchforking a Grendel?
I used a PitchFactor with a MountainKing drone synth with good results. So not exactly the same but in the ballpark.

Are you talking about running it with the blend maxed and using an expression pedal to control the pitch? That could work really well. I used a pitchfork with a 6 oscillator Michael Rucci synth in a similar setup and it tracked really well and added a pretty cool layer to the sound. The harmonizing/dual functions were crucial.

That's exactly what I was talking about. I couldn't think of any reason why it wouldn't work, but those drone boxes can be unpredictable. Man, this does not help my gas at all.
