it blends the incoming signals in order to create the repeats so that it's only using the power necessary to process one signal, instead of two. it feeds those same repeats to each side. however, the dry signal isn't blended. so, if the pedal is off, you will have only muff on one side and only ts on the other. when you turn the pedal on, the
only part of the signal that's blended is the delay repeats. so if you have a short number if repeats, say only two, when you hit a note, you will hear mostly (depending on your settings) your dry signal with it's stereo integrity, then you will hear the two fading repeats which are a blended signal. does that make sense? i think unless you have your delay line louder than the dry signal, it might not be a huge deal, or it might sound alright.
