What modulation would you get for dronez?

I saw Earth a few nights ago, and Dylan was only using a one of the newer MXR univibe and the MXR micro chorus.
That coupled with a compressor and his signature TYM distortion + sounded amazing.
Just enough movement to be interesting, not so much to be distracting.
