Popular Drum Machine Clones?

Post by WeHuntKings »

So everyone and their mother clones sought after pedals. Does anyone out there do the same with vintage drum machines? If so, who should I be looking at?

Jomox and Acid Lab are a good place to start.

Delptronics LDB-1 hits on the 606 and 808 vibe pretty hard

Almost a 1:1 clone of the 808 called Yocto

MFB makes some very Roland-ish drum machines

Somehow completely forgot about MFB. Great call. You could also get a Vermona DRM variant and a sequencer.

That market is plugins IMO.

It's been that way since Rebirth.

Acid lab stuff looks great.

D16 do amazing plugin versions of the old Roland TRs.
