Possibly a resistor from the base to the emitter, as that is common practice in building an amplifier from a BJT. Or maybe a limiting resistor on the input, as that is another common thing to attenuate the input signal, so that it doesn't drive the amp into clipping(basically a fixed volume on the input). Like basically how you can set your amp to distort with your guitar playing then back the volume of the guitar down to clean it up. The amp gain is still the same, just the input signal is attenuated.chutneyfarmer wrote:Wow! I can see V+ running to a resistor then to a pad that is not wired. LED resistor is LED resistor.

Ah ok, so the resistors for the LEDs are soldered to the pcb, but don't go anywhere, unless of course someone ordered one of the ones with LEDs?
