makes sense. as i recall from back in the day Vox organs--and Farfisas which are often credited with Vox parts--generally were not used with Leslies, which were a B3/C3 thing almost exclusively. i don't know if anyone used them with Lowreys like Garth Hudson used in The Band.

It’s interesting to try bits and pieces of the organ in isolation, like drawbar by drawbar and the percussion with none of the drawbars adding sound, and getting the harmonic stacking makes some classic organ lines make a bit more sense. Oh, you’re adding fifths and don’t want to have the occasional out note like in the Owner of a Lonely Heart solo—gotcha. The whole POG organ-ness makes more sense to me now.
