Yeah my whole rig was $250... Those 2x15s sound good with guitar or bass... My Sunn Concert Bass input fell off the other night so I plugged right into that setup and kept playing... I have another 2x15 with a Centurion head that I usually use for Guitar/Bari but either one works... :thumb:

I always thought the Mk III and IV were super versatile and had a really meaty sound. And being able to blend the two channels made for some really distorted but still articulate tones with all that shaping going on between the two separate pres/channels.

Glad you're digging the Mark IV... that whole generatiom of amps - the Marks, Centurys and Centurions, especially - are some of my favorite solid staters...
Hmm
Is it a 215 bw D?

Update (who cares, right?)
Another 2x15 popped up for about $200 on CL. Luckily I saw it almost as soon as it was posted and called the guy and today somehow managed to fit it into my two door car and drive it the hour home. Also included in the deal was a Schecter Diamond-P with strap locks and hardcase in great shape. It's the deep cab with the Scorpions instead of the BWs. It was awesome to finally crank the Mark IV and shake the room for a while.

FUCK YES!!!

Do you have the foot switch/are you able to run both channels at once??? Cause that's the best...

Score Breauxxx, once you get it dialed in you'll be most pleasently surprised that you didn't do it sooner... A world of bass tonezzz and befuddlement awaits... :yay:

I don't have the footswitch but both channels seem to be activated (the controls from both affect the tone/volume). There's so many knobs and sliders I could spend forever tweaking on it. And man, that 2x15 sounds GOOD. It's the first time I've played through 15s and I didn't have super high hopes for a cab I got so cheap but it's awesome. My Squier JMJM sounds amazing through this setup.
