Lapsteels, like slide guitar, always seem to sound amazing.

Mostly, I figure, because they're impossible to play... so if you're laying down a lapsteel part, you'd better have your shit together.
good deals are here.
escapecraft is here.

That shit is sweet Muddy! Great stuff.

No ILF lapsteel discussion would be complete without these jams from our own Blooghost:

And then there's this amazing Pete Drake pedal steel talkbox clip. Shit blows my mind...

I really love the sound of lapsteel, geeez it's haunting! It really helped me get into lots of the country music that Tanya loves but I didn't... I hear some lapsteel and it brings me around bigtime.

Here's some nice lapsteel from TPB:

Muddy, yours is totally awesome.. what a project!

I don't think I'm in the league of players that can play lapsteel, seems really tough to me.

That's awesome. I'd love to learn pedal steel, but I'm left handed. Maybe if I ever learn more theory, I can pick up lap steel.

An obvious hit:

Ahhh!

Steel revolution!

Any one out there gots a Moog lapsteel? I guess it is the same as playing with an ebow, but you can hit slants cause it works on all strings.

Mudfuzz nice clip....care to share some homemade ebow tips?
