I'm a big fan, though I haven't been using mine much since I got my Deluxe Memory Boy.

But I'll never sell the SMMH, it's just too damn cool.

mega-old pic but i love mine. it's become indispensable. i keep all my presets written down in a notebook and i usually just experiment but lately i've into that shoegaze setting in reverse echo that was on that ssdotorg demo.

i love mine but i'm thinking about taking it off my board. i've become really really into the thing and feel like i've really got every possible sound i could ever want out of it. :idk: i just never use it live. i really just like to sit for hours and see how many layers of loops i can get

Here's the shitter.

The sounds are fucking great, but I miss my DL4, because of the instant access to 3 presets.

When I owned one I used the looping, reverse echo and modulated echo exclusively. I hope to get one again sometime in my life, I had to sell it due to monetary needs.

Sweet pedal, just wish the presets were easily accessible like Aen mentioned.

Looping with repeats attenuation is great, and varispeed lets me play it like a theremin. 1sec+Reverse is awesome, and the multi-tap gives me awesome slow-gear-esque swells. At first I missed the DL4 because of the exp pedal and the instant re-start of loops, but I get more use out of my Haz than I ever did out of the DL4 at this point. I'm going to get a Looperlative LP2 when it eventually comes out and I'll have the re-triggering back, but I have definitely decided that I like the Haz better than the Line 6 overall.

only setting i could even think about needing more than one preset is the reverse echo. i hate having to choose there. but other than that i tend to stick to one preset. if i become enamored w/ another delay i'll just change it.

i seriously would rock two of these if i wasn't already str8 w/ the Kaoss pad & multi-EFX i already have. dude from Mogwai rocks two Hazarai live.

You can do crazy routing with two SMMH. You can plug your instrument into the right input, right output into left input, and out of left input to basically create the effect of 2 Haz on the same setting. Then take that out into another one routed the same way, and it could be monstrous. I don't have two but I did do the right/left routing thing and its really cool. Turn the repeats down though or you will possibly die.

I tried this and didn't notice any difference.

it works for me.

only thing i wish is that the loops could be delayed as well. & i wish it had a ping pong delay setting. i know its supposed do a ping pong delay in stereo but it sounds like a Space Echo or something.

:)* :yay:

Yeah I should have noted to start with repeats low, then raise them with caution to get the desired effect. If it still doesn't impress throw a phaser or dirt or something in the middle (after right in/right out, then the phaser, then left in/left out).

And yes, I thought it was ping pong if you plug it in stereo. I don't use it in stereo so don't know how it sounds that way. You can't delay the loop but you can filter the repeats which has proven very useful to me.
