so i've been needing a website for about a year now and i think it's best that i get it up by june 1. just a goal i'm setting for myself... i've done essentially all of the design work, i just need some help getting it up there and possibly some layout flow advice/opinions. i've thought about just using a blog, but i'd like to just have a site up and be done with it... any ideas?

i can offer a custom pedal to whoever can help me make this happen ...or just point me in the right direction to do it myself and have some good karma coming your way!

I'm a designer, but look & feel only. Gotta get into the back-end stuff myself. That said, if Deadman is too tapped out, I can try to find someone from my network who could do it for cheap / free (and then maybe I could snag the pedal... mwah ha ha ha...).

you should try photoshop and dreamweaver thats how i used to do it when i was in design classes but that was a couple years ago

do all your layout and images in photoshop then slice it up
transfer to dreamweaver then dreamweaver will auto code stuff for you as u add them and make you nice source folders for you and u just upload that to a host and away ye go

i think
lol

I was going to say something like freewebs, I've had friends use those for some of their stuff, and they weren't that bad for being their first time.

I can hook you up with some straight up pro guys, but they ain't really all that cheap :/
are you a mac user? If so try the apple hosted sites, I know the dwarfcraft site was set up that way, dunno if it's still like that, but it looked nice and Aens sense of humour made it teh bestest

how about a wordpress/other blog with a link to a bigcartel store / fuzzhugger?
you can list 5 items for free at once on bigcartel. theres a monthly fee for more ( up to 100 items i think ).
actually blogspot might be better because wordpress might require a membership fee in order to post videos and such.

The blogspots and wordpress things are great because they set it up mostly and you can customize it as you go. It also supports anything you'd do with a website...and is free.
