Sweet. I think I prefered the Ruckus in the video.

Does it seem to be pretty clear? In his demo it just sounded almost gated and mushy. IDK.

Color me VERY interested. :)

Very open and clear. The eq is quite neutral. The overdrive/distortion character is pretty complex with good bass and lower mids. As with the Fingerprint, the sustain isn't much to speak of, but I don't think that is what the design is really intending. There are some weird artifacts on the decay just like the FP. I haven't played it live yet, I'll know more after this Wednesday how it functions in the heat of battle...but so far I'm totally excited about this pedal. It stacks very well with the FP and the SkinPimp. Alan is the man, I'm really surprised this pedal hasn't received more press.

It sounds like I was looking for ^ from my melx2. If that doest work out I may have to knock on Alan's e-door. ;)

Yea, I just said e-door.

And it does sound more meaty than the FP. Can the FP get fuzzier?

The FP was set about 80% cranked on the fuzz and 70% on the texture...so pretty much maxed out in the usable range. Any more and it gets into this kind of crazy territory of hard to describe weirdness. In the video, I actually have the FP fuzz and texture cranked up quite a bit more than I usually do since I was playing pretty at low volume.

With that said though...the FP is just genius for live use. I've not had a pedal that works better in a live environment, and I've been through a couple pedals over the years. There is just something going on in that circuit that is hard to describe. I really wish Secret Seasons would get their Snowdrift released... :poke:
