As a non-american, it amazes me that laws like these can be passed in a state and that they're not mandated federally. if the U.S. was a more federalist country, then retarded laws like this couldn't pass because they'd need a consensus from a much larger group and some small group of backwards-thinking politicians couldn't just go ahead and unilaterally pass laws.
to be honest, it's this lack of solidarity between states that freaks me out the most about travelling around the US. what i do in Vermont might be perfectly legal but by the time I get to Conneticut, I could go to jail for the exact same thing... sends shivers down my spine.
I will personally welcome any deserters that feel things are getting too crazy to handle. Fuck whatever the gov't says.

This country is so arrogant to be so fucked up.
Like, how the fuck does that sort of law actually get voted in? Regardless of your view of abortion, forcing people to go through that because they realize they're not fit to be parents and putting a baby up for adoption because you made a stupid mistake or birth control failed is just cruel.

or let them get raped with the ultrasound equipment & make them watch. "It's ok, you can avert your eyes if you need to."

That is absolutely infuriating, and a good example of how backwards our country is.
I'm also staying away from that guy when coffee tables are around.

Trust me, if I thought gainful employment were guaranteed, I've move back to Châtaeuguay or Repentigny, tout d'suite, but as it is, I'm stuck around here, with morons au bout!! But I suppose since it's been about 6 years since I moved back South, I've managed to keep a low profile, but seriously, shit like this makes me
I just don't understand my country very often. But like I said, if I were guaranteed employment, it'd be tough to not go back

You have to love how the Republicans can be so "Oh, we're for small government. Keep the government out of our lives" as long as it has to do with money and making sure big compnaies keep getting more of it, but with everything else it's all "YOU WILL DO AS WE TELL YOU TO DO BECAUSE REPUBLICAN JESUS SAYS SO!"
What a bunch of fucking morons. Where are the teabaggers protesting thi government intrusion?

don't be fooled by the (R)emocrat(so liberal they never liberate jack shit) and (D)epublican(so consevative they don't conserve jack shit) 2 party system...the fuckers have us just where they've wanted us for a very long time...no matter who's(or party) in office they answer to the same masters, and they'll do what ever the hell they want and nobody's gonna do a thing about it...prob. is most americans couldn't tell you who their Governor or Senator is, let alone the rest of our infrastructure...so laws like this are passed without any backlash because most of the American population would rather spew out stats for their fav. football player or NASCAR driver than worry about their own country going down the shitter...it all boils down to laziness...but thats where it gets interesting...it's my belief that if they can keep us in the dark then it's all good for em...but once they take away our ability to be lazy, slothful bastards then you'll see a goddamn violent revolution...my guns can't wait
