DF or SM??

Hi all,
I'm looking something that just envelopes my sound in a thick, yet warm low-mid blanket of fuzz. I got the hyperion which is cool, especially for the lead stuff, but it is a little bit too texture-y, gritty. I'm looking for something a bit smoother and warmer, especially on power chords and first position open chords, but with the same amount of volume and output as the typical DE pedal.
So I was looking at the Disaster and the Soda Meiser. Wanna weigh in? Also, feel free to suggest other ILF builders. In particular, I'm wondering if the Great Wall or another of Fuzzhugger's line up would be a good choice. I play a Jazzmaster with Fender USA vintage correct p/ups into a Marshal JCM 800 in the clean input, for a reference as to what I'm working with.

Vintage Fuzz Master has been rocking my world of late. Torn's Peaker too.

The Soda Meiser most definitely coats your sound in warm gooey fuzz goodness. I like mine

Blurillaz will probably cast a vote for the GZ. I still need to get me one of those things.

the Algal Bloom also has a similar effect on chords and such, with the whole wall-of-fuzz thing, but it retains a bit more clarity than the SM. The SM might have a little more beef though.

I'm going to say SM as well. Although the DF is cool I don't find it as big sounding.

the sm is pretty big and thick. i love df and tbd but not so thick.
if you want something that will add some bass keep clairity and add a real nice cascade of fuzzyness on the end of your notes check out a year of the rat... it is not a traditonal fuzz my any means and is sort of like a clean boost that trails with fuzz but that pedal knocked my socks off when i got it and i had to send devi a semi-drunk fanboy email!!!
i would like to throw the great wall into the mix. i love it. i takes any fuzz you want to send into it and blasts it into outer space!!!
if you can get your hands on a TEAM AWESOME FUZZ MACHINE you will love yourself for ever!!!

Cherry Pop.
I kid, I kid... SM, no doubt. Although I do love love love love my VFM - the only thing is, because it's one of those crazy disharmonic (? right? that's the term?) fuzzes, it can get a little finicky with chords.

Thanks guys!! SM it is I guess. I'm dumb, I just realized that my friend has an OoLaLa era Truly Beautiful Disaster with has the DF circuit in it. I'm just gonna mess with that, thanks for reminding me!
