See i post this here because im noticing it more and more with dr scientist miniberators and such. Ive seen like three of the recent limited run of miniberators in the last week for asking prices $50 to $100 more than they sold for. I have no problem with making money an d i know rich TGP types have no problem paying your fucked up prices but when you pull your sleazy shit here i just cant stand it. Isnt there something different you can flip? Sneakers maybe. I dont really know but please leave these pedals for kids who will really use them. fuck man i dont even want to talk about this anymore....

I don't know, I'm not a fan of those who buy things just to immediately flip them. If people are selling the raindrop blem-berators for $100 than original price, than that is just low since they were discounted for a reason. Then again, I've never really gone on TGP.

Yea, I don't really watch for that kinda stuff, but it is pretty messed up if it's happening. Ryan goes out on a limb to be good to ILF and it's kinda messed up taking advantage of that.

You could SAVE your money and buy one when they come out instead of ranting like a kid because of inflated prices.

I still have my miniberator and it's the best reverb pedal ever.

The 3 or so you saw may not have been what the buyer wanted in the pedal and when they put it for those prices, they include Shipping, Paypal Fees, Insurance. Did you ever consider that?

Haha thanks, but I have a different pedalboard for each of my bands, and that was just one time when I ran them both together. Notice the two Pitchblacks and the two Timmys. That's a bit excessive, even for me.

Moved to gear, so Dr. Scientist doesn't bear the whole brunt of something that he didn't ask for.

It is frustrating when resale prices to get crazy, and not all builders want to see this happen...but there's not always a way to control demand / auction prices.

(Also, I don't mind an insane amount of vulgarity inside the threads, but extra-outrageous subjects are gonna get edited. )

Woah i got alot of hate on this. I apologize if this was in the wrong forum i was a little drunk last night. Im not going to fight with anyone because id rather that not happen on this particular forum but im going to stand by what i said. Ryan does alot for this forum, he goes out of his way to give us free pedals at a time when they are in really high demand, he takes time out of his day to post more here than quite a bit more than any of the other makers and he even decides to give us price breaks on certain pedals and create limited runs that he advertises here. That being said, when people use this generosity to make profit for themselves...they unabashedly abuse Ryan and this board. I dont like that at all. ive seen someone selling a pedal that was a giveaway here for more than retail, i dont see how im in the wrong by being shocked by that. I mean yeah you dont know Ryan personally, but how can you see that pedal as anything more than a gift? Right now im hard up for the money but even if i didnt like my ILF frazz i wouldnt even consider selling it unless it was to someone on this board who i know would really use it and get alot of enjoyment from it, like ryan intended. Maybe this is just another idiotic post from an even bigger idiot that ryan should delete but this is my genuine sentiment and i stand behind it. Lets try and not let sleazy profiteering end an era of good naturedness here.
