I just got a Blackheart Handsome Devil head. I need a 2x12 cab to go with it and I'm cheap. What should I do? I don't have the time or the tools to cut circles in plywood or I'd consider building it myself.

Have a price you're willing to keep it at?
You could always do what I did and try and find a 212 combo with nice speakers in it, and use it as a cab.

someone awhile back posted this link for a custom cab, but they also have cabs loaded with Celestions and Eminence speakers. pretty nice prices.

You, my friend, need to look on craigslist more often! It's a wonderful place! JC120s typically are in the $300 range. Sometimes they pop up in the $200s, which is how much mine was.

I got a Laney Protube Lead 100 AOR series 212 combo amplifier in almost immaculate condition for $200

avatar cabs are pretty nice and reasonably priced. i got a 2x12 used on CL for $175...

+1 on Avatars. I've had mine about 4 years now and it's still going strong. I filled mine up with a couple of Vintage 30s and it sounds primo!
