hey ILF.....

i love fuzz... i do.... germanium very nice.... does anyone have any experience with pedals built by PCE?? has anyone heard of them? i borrowed a friends once a few years back and remember it was my favorite germanium fuzz (think it's called simply "Fuzz").... of course, i would grab a Team Awesome Fuzz Machine over these guys, but that fuzz tone still haunts me....

anyone use them or have tried them in before??

BOBBY D!!!!!!!

that was you? nice job, i just finished watching it... yeah, i kinda get the feeling they are straight shooter fuzz pedals, genuine tone with little gimmicks.... i actually wasn't considering the lady stardust, was thinking either the Fuzz or the Supernova because of the whole dallas arbiter mojo they got but i LOVE a good Vox Tonebender and now my decision becomes more complicated....

thanks for the input, i've been following your vids and posts since i started futzing with the real deal pedals....

I have the LSD and a Tone Master. Two very good and versatile pedals. PCE gets very little exposure, but it deserves a lot more. Alex is a great guy to deal with too. Very helpful, even when the pedal is bought 2nd hand.

The LSD is a mk 1.5 tonebender (2 tranny), so you obviously get tonebender fuzz. You can also cop a nice fuzz face tone, with a little more of a bottom end. The LSD that I have has sockets for the transistors and came with 2 sets. It was fun a/b'ing them.

The Tone Master is a Si transistor Rangemaster. It can be a treble booster, or a full range booster. I'm liking this Rangemaster clone a lot more than my Ge transistor HBE Germania 44 and Analogman Beano.

The Little Red Rocket is going to be my next PCE pedal.

As of this past week, there is a early version of the Fuzz posted in the TGP Forums. I don't remember the price exactly, but I do remember it being reasonable.
