(sorry in advance as I'm sure these pictures will be huge)

Boss OD-1, people say it's a tubescreamer clone...
However, it was on the market before the TS-808. the plot thickens!

The old Muff Fuzzes are also rather dandy.

The Anderton Tube Sound Fuzz is more overdrive than fuzz, the Red Llama is a clone of it!

I mainly use boosters to overdrive my amp, no fuss just crank one knob.

These ones are cool as well...

I've been using my great wall as an overdrive.

Taking advantage of the double gain stage can tame the overall fuzz cut and make a really really good sounding OD.

I liked the Rumble MOD but I prefer the Rumble ODS. Have you tried a Rust Driver? Very cool, but makes everything sound like Angus Young.
The DAM Sonic Titan is top o the heap though, although it's more of a distortion.
I like the old EHX Hot Tubes. The LPB2 is great for shoving the amp into natural OD.
Tonebone Classic is really good too.

Pretty sure you can turn the od1's into/very close to 808's with like 4 parts. I have a double muff (2 muff fuzz's in one) that I have been liking a lot lately. Very interactive with picking & volume dynamics...Can't wait to mod it up

Nope I haven't actually for me t has to work on bass too as bass is my main instrument [that's why I like the MOD, it kills on bass].... Doesn't mean I don't want one though.... I love HAO's stuff, my favorite is The Roar I have #s 2, 45, 47 & 100.

Singing Tree for sure. Although, I had a Tube Screamer (metal screamer) that I liked quite a lot...

Also really like my EHX Graphic Fuzz for overdrive-like tones.
