Guyatone SVm5 Slow Volume and Pedals Like It

Hi all. I'm looking for suggestions on a pedal that will do volume swells. I do not want to use a volume pedal but rather an effect that has more parameters to control. I've been looking at the Guyatone SVm5 Slow Volume. Are there any other pedals out there like that? I also came across a Boss SG-1 Slow Gear but those prices are crazy ($400+). I guess an SG-1 clone would be acceptable but I don't know which builders are worth looking into. :idk: I want something with a nice long volume crescendo and nice sustain. Thanks for any ideas!

The POG2 has an attack slider, so you can do sweet volume swells along with all of the other octave-generating fun stuff - you can set it up so the attack only affects the octave signal, or affects the original signal as well as the octave signal. Plus you've got three levels of Q intensity, and the detune (which can also be set to work only on the octaves or on the original signal as well). If you're really only looking for slow volume it may be a bit much, but there's a lot going on in that box...

That's the route I'd go, though they are pretty simple as far as control (not always a bad thing). If you're worried about building it yourself, I'm sure someone here would be glad to do it for you :poke:

Fantastic. Thanks for the replies fellas! I've had my eyes on a POG2 for a while now but think it might be overkill (both in price and for my intended use). I definitely want a POG2 at some point. I'll look into the BYOC clone (I'm not very handy with electronics so I'd be up for someone building me one. I'm not sure about the Echo Oche and I try and steer clear of Behringer pedals.

Wow, that's the coolest thing I've seen today. I couldn't find a price on the website, do you have any idea how much one of those would cost?

I think I saw $150 somewhere?

I might be making that up though... :idk:
