Mbox 2 Phono input Stuff

i have an old Technics Record player,
and an mbox 2 pro
and my computor and studio monitors,
i can listen to itunes through my monitors, but i cant get my record player to come out, i can get a signal into my computor, but i cant monitor it.
anyone have the same thing / solved this?
