anybody ever try running pedals in a paralell setup? I've never given it any thought until now. How would it affect the way a pedal responds?

I run a stereo set up and i run 2 delays parallel and my dirt parallel as well.

using my polychorus as a Y splitter I have my OCD-Re20-rc20 going into one amp and my fuzzhugger-multiplay going into another.
both of these signal paths cross at my verbzilla insuring that both amps can get reverb but there is a minor bit of bleeding into each channel but it isn't noticeable until you turn one amp alllll the way down and even then you can barely hear it.

I got inspiration for this by graham coxon's use of the DOD punkifier, the pedal that's part OD part Fuzz, and via trying to get a fuzz tone while being able to cut through the mix.
I've always had problems with various fuzzes not cutting through a live mix, fender blender/big muffs/fuzz face/vintage rat RI/etc., without having to resort to cranking the volume on my amps. so you can achieve some things and some tones that you can't usually get whilst running a straight series set up.

Plus it's pretty fucking trippy having delays in stereo/parallel.

I almost always record parallel signals, but haven't tried playing out live that way. I'd love to play with parallel delays, or flanges, or phasers...
