Roland space echos

hey chaps

taking the leap and buying a space echo sold my delays and scrapd some monies together gonna buy the 101 or 150

opinions on them in a live situation experience with them touring or getting them serviced or little bugs i should know about

All I know is that servicing is a bit annoying, but they sound fucking amazing. Most people tell me that they're more suited for studio work, but I bet they'd be awesome in a live situation. You will just need to spend a lot in keeping it in shape, but the magic echo is worth it if you use it enough.

All very true.

Up keep isn't that bad but you have to remember these things are pushing 30+ and are mechanical. You want to keep a eye on the thing more then most gear but people do still gig with them. I don't gig with mine but that has to do with not needing it for like at this time vs NEEDING it for recording.

any reason people keep the lid off on them does it get toasty hot ?

My opinion is they sound amazing, however, they got ridiculously marked up once Boss put out the Space Echo Twin Pedal
