Anyone know which power supply i should get for this ?
From the ehx site
"WARNING: Use only the 18VDC/500mA AC adapter the POG comes supplied with. Do not use any other AC adapters. Using other AC adapters, even those made by Electro-Harmonix, could cause harm to the unit, the adapter or you. The POG does not use batteries."
No way around this? i cant just buy a regular 18v dc 500ma ac adapter and have a blast(without anything frying that is).

As long as its 18V and can put out 500 mA, then I wouldn't worry about it. A power supply is a power supply is a power supply.

Why wouldn't you just buy the one from EH? Is there a cheaper alternative? Is it really worth the risk to your POG?
You probably could power it with a generic 18v but to me the risk of something going wrong is not worth it.

I went to the local music store and since they didnt have any in stock, it would take 10 days, so i was hoping that there were any good alternatives, so i didnt have to wait 10 days, im so impatient
But! I went to the store and ordered it today! POG in 10days! YAY

hey gregor,
did you have to get a Euro plug for it? i'm just curious if it's the same as my Deluxe Memory Man i got from the UK last year? the box was marked "230V" but when i did some searched i learned that all you need is an EH wallwart for your country, so it worked fine....
you poor guy, this is much too long to wait for some POG love....

I dont know really, i think our power sockets has a 220v output, so i dont know, i dont think i could use a US made power supply with a "socket" transformer thingy so it fits in my power socket. I think i need a separate power supply which converts 220v to whatever the POG is using.
