I think it looks really cool and I'm sure it's worthy of any and all hype... great line of pedals!

I do agree though... did they really have to name the pedal a colour with the word Reverberator?! I mean out of all the names in the known universe, a colour and the word Reverberator? :idk: In all fairness though, I did completely unintentionally steal the name Reverberator from Digitech... they have an old pedal called that. But I challenged the owner to a death match for the rights to the word and the rest is history. *winks at Digitech owner's head on the wall*

I dig the spirit of competition though and will be making sure the bigberator is suitable competition. I don't think any pedal is a killer of any other pedal though, it takes all kinds. I also don't really think any pedals are better than any others, just different, and the more the merrier.

It's ok to like it and think it's awesome though, buddy, I'm a pedal enthusiast too and I think it looks really badass. What a pal, making me feel better!

The reverb is the least appealing to me...but I'm THIS close to getting the flanger
The delay looks pretty cool too if it lives up to the marketing materials.

i really like the Blue Sky.
i really make good use of the long decay times and the flexible eq section.
the modulation on the plate reverb is exactly the sound i've been going for by combining several pedals such as the Boss Dimension C and the RRR.
while i understand newarkWilder's opinion on the shimmer mode, i think that it's an effect that can be tamed using the mix control and spending some time eqing it correctly with the dampening.
the ability to add a favorite on switch is like having two different verbs on board, which i've already gotten some great use.
it's extremely quiet and a well built unit.
my only complaints with it so far are that the bottom screws on the unit seem cheap and i almost stripped on unscrewing the back to peak inside.
my second complaint is that it requires a lot of power so i had to power it using outlet 5 on the PP2+.
other than that, i think it's a great unit.

i think the RRR is also a stellar reverb unit.
i think it's large modal range is excellent, and it's the best plug-and-play reverb i've had the pleasure of owning.
it's got a great idiot-proof simplicity to it and all the sounds are there!
i also really appreciate the boost.

overall, i don't think there is a best.
i'll be using the Blue Sky for now because it's got those modulated reverbs i've been trying to achieve... and it has the favorites option- which is great for my new project.
i'm sure a mini-verberator will be in my future though. :thumb:
