Malekko discusson has been moved to the Gear forum.

Hey everyone!
After several attempts to contact Malekko over the past 6 months (and a general lack of discussion in that forum), all posts from that subforum have been moved here.
Generally, if a manufacturer doesn't participate in their own forum--or doesn't
at least link to it from their site--it's going to be a very slow-moving forum.
Anyway, the discussion continues in the Gear forum!

I'm NOT impressed.
it's been (apparently

) in the mail for three weeks now.

Oh Yeah! Bought via ebay direct from malekko in november 09 a germanium assmaster. That one never showed up... the tracking number said:
The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on November 18, 2009 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. No further information is available for this item.
Then malekko said, a second one was shipped... Nothing ever showed up.
And now (march 2010) a refund came: 235 $ instead of the 255 $ paid. Minus paypal stuff 10 $ is 225 $...
This sucks.
I will stay away from products of this company in the future.

Sorry to hear that, man. I had better luck than you did. That's straight mean ,though.
I'll tell you honestly, though, if their pedlulz weren't so fucking awesome sounding I wouldn't keep buying them.

still waiting... still waiting...
not trying... to be hating...
but i'm waiting.... and wasting
and it's waisting... my patience...
univalve, did you leave him negative feedback on ebay?
file with paypal for a full refund.
hassle him for a full refund. do you need him phone number? it's on his website. (contact > address)
people need to hear about these problems. i got gang raped on HCFX when i posted "20 weeks and still waiting, not impressed".
i'm just frustrated thinking about this
and it just builds knowing that there's NOTHING i can do about it when the builder is as righteous as josh.
this experience totally ruins my mojo with malekko products.
i'll keep waiting... and waiting...
not trying... to be hating...
just waisting... my posting...

No, not yet negative feedback...
The paypal refund possibility is long time passed, though. It is just one month. In the beginning i believed, that he is busy 'cause of NAMM and will send it afterwards... He is telling, he sent 2 pedals out but has only the poor post statement quoted by me in my former post

(One problem is, that i'm in germany.)
Phoned several times. He started ingoring the mails... It is frustrating.
I have a dark 600 and a chicken. Probably i will sell them. There are a lot of good companies out there that care a lot more about their customers
Thanks guys!

i'll do this for him because he doesn't post here and has better things to do than bother with you
Malekko - http://acapella.harmony-central.com/sho ... p=38990617 wrote:You left out a crucial part of the story where i initially declined fixing your pedal due to you giving it to a person to "fix". Said person tried to remove the opamp and ruined a bunch of traces in the process. Our warrantee page clearly states that if you or another hacks up a pedal in an attempt to "fix" it, you're on your own. But you complained and made comments stating you were "embarrassed" that a company wouldnt fix your mess and then made Moog Audio pay for your F-up...claiming that's what a good company would do.
Your pedal was so fu@ked, and after 2 hours of trying to get it in order i just grabbed a new one and stuck your old bottom on it.
And to also be fair, you didnt send it to me "20 weeks ago" moog audio had it for the majority of the time...which i'm assuming is why they paid for the only repair in Malekko history that i charged for.
So please before your next post, stop and think before you spread misinformation.

Oh snap.

It really drives me nuts when I see people on a witch hunt for a builder when sometimes it's the end user's fault. Sure, sometimes it's a manufacturing flaw that manifests itself over time or something unavoidable like thing. They don't seem to understand that they are not the center of the universe. Did you know Malekko is really just a couple guys running everything? I thought it was just one until I met the other dude at NAMM. Have some patience! There's a lot going on behind the scenes!
This whole thread reminds me of little kids who think milk just appears magically in a carton at the grocery store. They don't seem to realize there are cows, farmers who take care of the cows, grass the cows eat, the company who picks up the milk, the bottling plants, etc.
