Why no battery clip?

Firstly, I understand that use of 9 volt batteries can be considerably wasteful (especially on higher current effects ala BOSS) but why the stance for Dwarfcraft? It can get difficult for players that only want a single Dwarfcraft pedal on stage without a pedalboard or an additional power source. I think, if used responsibly, a 9v battery can conserved for a good long time.

A battery punched Aen in the nuts in gym class when he was just a little kid. He's had it out for batteries ever since.

I bet you could make a battery clip into a 2.1 mm center negative plug if you put your mind to it....

I've done so for my Eau Claire Thunder, but what about for other people who would otherwise have no clue?

...would probably not have ever heard of dwarfcraft devices. i'm pretty sure at least a little bit of know-how and boutique pedals go hand in hand.

You would think so, but I've been surprised. I'm in the land where sometimes "money>sense" is the case. I'm personally fine with it but I've seen first hand people being put off by it who otherwise love the product.

I think part of the thing with builders like Aen and Devi is that if something like the imagery invoked, or the name or in this case the lack of battery clip, if something like that turns you off then perhaps you're better off without the pedal? :idk:
I knew a guy who played my Synth Mangler once and loved it, well he loved the SM....wasn't crazy about the joystick action.
so I told him about and was offended by the name. didn't get it. got a tube screamer instead. FTG.

Lol, I know!

It's mostly about taking an enviornmental stand, but partly to save space, time, money, cut down on returns for dead batteries  (Devi has this happen fairly often) and for the most part people who get as deep as DWarfcraft into the Pedal Problem have a daisy chain or single adaptor around.

also, Steevedeadman: that wasn't a burn, it was a hint. Sublimedo is FAMILY. This poor guy and his lovely lady Roachelle put me and Robert up for the NAMM show.

You see, that was me being funny. I would hope you wouldn't be a dick to a customer, much less a friend! Because if you were, I wouldn't buy your pedals, even tho I love them. Plus I wanted a reason to use that really fucking cool flame emoticon :flame: <-- it so awesome!
