Everything Sunn is Awesome! I never hesitate when I see a nicely priced Sunn product.

oh my god that thing is awesome, it's a sunn PA i believe. anything sunn is great. 50$ is exactly what i was gonna say.

I don't understand why Sunn went under. All of their products were solid. They could make a ss amp sound like a awesome tube amp and their tube amps were stupid good. The only problem with the amps is that they were stupid loud but I don't really see that much as problem but more like a fucking good time! One day when a few grand fall in my lap I will own a Sunn Model T and I will conquer the universe with it!

Oh yeah and I checked craigslist for that controller and it goes for about 50-100 bucks as the usual.

Really? I know a guy local to Providence who's planning on building a Sunn T Super clone & selling it as a regular product... he does really good work - he's my go-to guy for amp & guitar repairs, and has also built some kickass pedals (one of which I own). Not to hijack the thread with spam, but if people are really wanting such a thing, I could put you in touch... he was talking about how much he'd need to finish & sell his prototype, and it was certainly less than a few grand!

Tell him to copy the OG Model T, pre-red knobs.. My brother has one, it's like the most versitile amp, evaaaar.

For a reasonable price (1000 under) I would probably go for it. I no longer have my Sunn Beta Lead and it makes me feel very empty inside.
