What are your favourite discontinued pedals?
Most regretted loss by sale/trade of a no-longer-available effect?
Nothing vintage... just modern discontinued stuff.

Modern discontinued hm, I can't say there is anything around really that I like, since the discontinued stuff I play and like is usually 25+ years old...
Most regretted.... I don't really regret it but I wouldn't mind having my Yamaha SPX-90 back for a bit to try with some other effects I now own.

don't really regret any of my losses... they've made it to good homes.

ch-ch-ch-ch-CHERRY POP!!!!
It's been a while since I've harped on that one, but we just had band practice the other night and I was reminded of how awesome this pedal is. Deep, growly, fuzzy, massive. Seriously epic.

I sold a Dice Works Finale a week before Erich announced he was quitting, does that count?
Got lots of vintage stories though...

Alright, screw the restrictions... We're all about FREEDOM here, right? So let's do this proper.
Dev, Blu... show us what you got!

Never played one, but I'd like to try a Digitech Space Station XP300.

My all time favorite is the Boss DM-2... Seriously it's THE perfect delay, plus it's the only pedal always on my board. The repeats just sound so lovely

You guys should seriously pick one up, the price they go for is a bit steep now though vut it's worth it. I think dev has a couple laying arouns so ILF inside deals are even better. I may be coming into 2 DM-3s soon so If I do, I'll have a devi Memory Boy>DM-3>DM-2>DM-3 clip sometime

miss my Pink Flesh from time to time but I have other muffy goodness to ease the pain
ok here's one DAM I miss 'cause of actual musical value, I scored a super early psychedelic Meathead sometime a while back and stupidly let it go.... went to a good home at least!
definitely wish I had some of the special devi stuff I used to have back... little cake, the black drip hype, couple more.
I think I miss my ASAT more than anything, just gotta get a solidbody since the semi-hollow + fuzz = icepick feedback city. I dunno... for as much shit as I've sold the stuff that has stuck has stuck for good reason

Icepick feedback is a bad thing?
And I'm going to have to second the Cherry Pop. If I could I'd take one behind the middle school and get it pregnant.

Sold all three of my op-amp Big Muffs about 2 weeks before that OMFG BILLY CORGAN USED AN OPAMP BIG MUFF blog post and the prices shot through the roof.
I traded a triangle Big Muff for a Boss HM2. There I said it. In my defence, I was 16 and knew fuck all about anything (obviously) and it was the 80s.
That has to be the worst.

if we're just talking favourites and not losses, these are two of my favourite discontinued vintage and modern pedals side by side
FS36999 Mike Matthews Head Big Muff & big box D*A*M Ram Head.

And I'm glad I grabbed these while they were still available
Spectre #1 and Oracle #12

Other than that, most of my fave gear is 30+ years old.

I love how I was one of the few who found those Big Muffs cool before the post. Every time I'd show it to someone they'd say "Oh, that one's the worst Big Muff made" or "Even the russian ones are better than that pile of crap."
