How i work the MXR EQ pedal?

so i bought a Mxr 6 band eq band and im not sure how it works,which sliders are what? how do i increase the treble and midrange with it?

I just got a 31 band MXR rackmount EQ today. A friend sent it to me to tinker with to see if I can make it quieter.

Bottom is on the left, mid in the middle, top end on the right, although that pedal doesn't really get into serious bass or treble territory, more low mid/upper bass to high mid/lower treble

Don't act like a girl, just play with the sliders until it sounds good.
You should hear a difference in your tone right away or else your unit is broke.
