about those two clarinots...

....well, I think they are both going on the board. The fuzz tone is really good, better than I expected. Yeah, no tone or gain controls, but who cares..I've got so much damn complexity with the other pedals that some simplification is somewhat refreshing. So realize this is the honeymoon period and I haven't had a chance to test it w/ the band yet, but I have one setup fairly tame with just a little chaos blended in..very light...while the other one is in full-on chaos mode that is still musical and usable, but fairly crazy. Stacking them together, with the heavily effected one first, yields a really muscular fuzz tone that doesn't seem to be cutting out like alot of fuzzes do when I stack them...they stay together and build pretty good actually. Plus, it kind of tames the heavy modulated one down to about the spot between how I have the two of them set, so it ends up being a medium modulated yet super heavy fuzz. Kind of cool.
Anyway, we'll see how the Pitch Pirate fits into this mix when I get it tomorrow or tuesday, but I'm liking this so far. Mid-Fi Doug is onto something I believe.

When I had my clarinot I used just the fuzz, I had it at the beginning of my chain and it transformed any fuzz I put after it to a super sweet alternative fuzz. I really want another one.

I'm surprised this pedal doesn't get more air time on the forums.

Around here, it gets all kinds. This is why ILF rules the interweb!

ILF does rule the interwebs...I'm beginning to realize that.
