I don't think many people around here are into hip hop, but does anyone know what Bells of DOOM samples? Sounds like some cheesy old movie or kids cartoon, I've asked other people but no one seems to know.

Mf Doom is all I have been listening to lately but I don't know the sample in ?

He uses a bunch of samples from old Fantastic 4 and other superhero shows I know so that's probably where he got the "gotta get away from the soundwaves of those bells" type stuff. the instrumentals still remain a mystery...

DOOM at his best, IMO. With a samples from "Huit Octobre 1971"
Check Wiki for the samples that he uses. Most often the ones said on there are the right ones.

I have all sorts of Doom (under all his silly incarnations) stuff all over the place, hard drives, the mac, the vaio, the ipods, iphone....

DOOM is my favorite MC. Most clever and beats are ridiculous. However, I don't understand your question...

He's definitely in my top 5. And when it comes to clever/weird/original MCs, for me, only Tame One and C-Rayz can compete.
(sidetrack recommendation: C Rayz Wals' "Limelight: The Outroduction" is awesome!)

I liked DOOM back when he was Zev Love X from KMD. I had (and still have) the KMD album on factory cassette.
