Rock with teh vintage TOANZ :D
VOX V847 on the left, and limited edition finish CryBaby in the right.
On the VOX, I popped in some tropical fish caps, put in a 100k trimpot for the "vocal mod", replaced the 470 ohm resistor that goes to the emitter of Q1 with a 294 ohm for the "midrange mod", replaced the inductor with a Sabbadius halo repro, socketed the transistors, and true bypassed it.
On the CryBaby I pulled out the original board, installed a NOS old replacement Thomas board (spare part from a closed down guitar shop that they had in storage), put in a 100k trimpot for the "vocal mod", replaced the 470 ohm resistor with a 360 ohm for the "midrange mod", socketed the transistors, replaced the 3.9uf tantalum dip cap with a 4.7 tantalum dip, put in a Fulltone ICAR pot, and true bypassed it.
Gut shotz!!!
